The hike was around 35-40 miles total, and this was my first foray into backpacking requiring roughing it (tent camping, filtering own water, bringing all supplies in an out, etc.). Overall, amazing trip. I did learn that my pack was probably too heavy (37-38 pounds to start), and not to wear Hokas Anacapa hiking boots as a backpacking shoe, but overall a great sucess. I brought my camera as you can see, which I strapped to my REI 60L backpack using a Peak Design backpack strap camera mount which was really great for accessibility and space saving. In addition to my camera, I brought a travel CPAP (transcend mini) and a battery, which allowed me to sleep soundly, amazingly even on the last night. So anyone suffering from sleep apnea, backpacking is still a viable activity! There are ways to take your therapy on the move like I did! Anyway, enjoy the photos!
